Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026 · DEESTECH HOLDINGS LLC

The short version

This Privacy Policy explains how DEESTECH HOLDINGS LLC ("Naymi", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Naymi website and apps (the "Service"). By using Naymi you agree to this Policy.

1. What Naymi is

Naymi lets you record how to say your own name, automatically improves the audio, and — if you choose — publishes it so anyone with your link can hear it and read a phonetic spelling. Published names may also appear in a public directory of self-recorded names.

2. Information we collect

a) Content you create and publish. When you choose to publish, we store the name pronunciation recording, the name, the phonetic spelling, and any optional photo and short description you add. This is the only content we keep, and only when you deliberately publish it.

b) On-device processing. The audio-mastering of your recording happens locally on your device. Raw audio is not sent to us for processing; only the finished recording you choose to publish is uploaded. We do not create “voiceprints,” and we never use your recording to identify, authenticate, or track you — it is used only to play back your name.

c) Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) to operate and secure the Service. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

d) No accounts required to listen. Anyone can listen to a shared pronunciation without creating an account or providing personal information.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Public nature of published content

Anything you publish is intended to be shared. A published pronunciation is accessible to anyone who has the link or optical code, and, where applicable, may be discoverable in the public directory. Please only publish a recording, name, photo, and description that you are comfortable making public.

5. Service providers

We use the following providers to run Naymi, which process content only to provide the Service:

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your published content for as long as it remains published. You can delete a published recording at any time, which removes it from our storage. Content stored only on your device stays under your control and is removed when you delete it or remove the app.

7. Children's privacy

Naymi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information or recordings from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has published content, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your content and limit access to it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your published content at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10. International users

Naymi is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
